Haridwar
Haridwar or hari- dwar in hindi literally means gateway to god. This holy place is a famous religious destination that invites people of various faith and background. Haridwar depicts Indian culture and civilization in its full effect. Haridwar opens the doors to char dham or the four religious centers badrinath, kedaenath, gangotri and yamunotri.
Badrinath
Snuggled between two famous mountain ranges, Nar and Narayan, Badrinath is situated in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. It is the famous Char Dham pilgrimage in Uttarakhand. The term ‘Badrinath’ means ‘the place where berries grow in abundance’. Legend has it that two sages, Nar and Narayan, performed severe penance to please Lord Shiva. Famous for the holy shrine of Lord Badri, this holy abode of Lord Vishnu is visited by people for its omnipresent spirituality and beauty.
Kedarnath
Kedarnath located in the district Chamoli of Uttrakhand at an altitude of 3581 meters surrounded by mountains cape. Kedarnath is one of the most important pilgrimages for the devout Hindus as it is the on of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Also visit Panch Kedar the five shrines on your visit to Kedarnath.
Entry/Exit point of Tour:
Day 1: Delhi- Haridwar (215 Kms/5-6hrs)
You will depart for Haridwar by road. Lunch enroute. Upon arrival at Haridwar, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Evening Ganga Arti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight at The Ganga Lahari or similar at Haridwar.
Day 2: Haridwar– Guptakashi ( 230 Kms/ 8-9 Hrs )
After early breakfast, we will proceed to Guptakashi Lunch in route. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Guptakashi
Day 3: Guptkashi–Sonprayag-Gaurikund–Kedarnath-Guptakashi (28 Km + 21 Km trek)
After breakfast by Helicopter, same day visit Kedarnath After Darshan and Puja, return to Guptkashi, Have your dinner and stay overnight at Guptkashi.
Day 4: Guptakashi – Joshimath by Chopta (141 Kms / 5-6 Hrs)
After breakfast, we proceed to Joshimath, one of the most beautiful sites on the whole trip. Enjoy the beautiful drive through medicinal forest. On arrival in check in to your Chardham camp. Evening is free for you to explore Joshimath on your own. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Joshimath.
Day 5: Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath ( 45 Kms drive one way/ 2 Hrs)
After breakfast, we proceed to Badrinath. On arrival take holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana Village. We return to Joshimath in the evening. Overnight at The Chardham Camp, Joshimath.
Day 6: Joshimath – Rishikesh(274 Kms/ 9-10 hrs)
After breakfast, we proceed to Rishikesh). Rest of the day will be at leisure. Overnight at Rishikesh.
Day 7: Rishikesh – Delhi
Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi

Haridwar Shopping Tips
The main shopping centers of Haridwar are Moti Bazaar, Upper Road, and Jwalapur. One can shop for rudraksh, Gangajal (vessels containing Ganges water), kumkum (vermilion), Ayurvedic medicines and precious stones in and around Haridwar.
