MANALI
One of the most beautiful hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Manali at altitude of 1, 950 m (6400 ft) in the beas River valley is an important hill station in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh. Manali is extremely popular with tourist for its lavish display of unspoilt batural beauty.
DALHOUSIE
Dalhousie also one of the best hill station in Himachal Pradesh. Attractive cottages and villas cling to the deodar and pine mantied hills of Dalhousie, while pink snd red rhododendrons bloom and trees stand tall in different shades of green.
DHARAMSALA
Dharamshala is also the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh. It has a magnificent view of snowy peaks, deodar and pine forest, tea gardens and beautiful hills.
KHAJJIAR
Khajjiar Often called Mini Switzerland of Himachal Pradesh. The hill station is surrounded by green meadows and dense forest.
AMRITSAR
Amritsar is the sikh religion’s spiritual centre. The golden temple is the main shrine. Its also very close to India’s western border with Pakistan.
CHANDIGARH
The capital city of Punjab is a green, clean and affluent city. With its proper organized sectors and roads designed by Le Corbusier, Jane Drew, Pierre Jeanneret and Maxwell Fry. The city is very different from other cities in the country.
Entry/Exit point of Tour:
Day 01 Chandigarh
Arrival at Delhi Railway Station / Airport immediately we proceed for Chandigarh by road. Arrive Chandigarh check in the hotel and now proceed to sightseeing tour of Chandigarh including Rock Garden, constructed almost entirely out of city garbage; Rose Garden 30 landscaped acres containing a variety of 1600 roses; Museum & Art Gallery housing a good collection of sculptures and paintings. Overnight at Chandigarh.
Day 02 Chandigarh- Shimla (130 kms/ 4 hrs)
After morning breakfast ch/out from hotel and transfer by road to Shimla (130 kms/ 4 hrs) former summer capital of British India & now a capital of Himachal Pradesh, set amidst the snow capped shivalik mountain ranges offering some stunning views of the mighty Himalayas, Arrive & check in the Hotel .Rest of the day is at leisure, Night stay in Shimla.
Day3:Shimla-Kufri-Shimla
In the morning visit the Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 2500 meters just an hours drive from Shimla and a very popular ski resort during the winter months. Later take a walking tour of Shimla &, visit the Jakhoo hills which, offers panoramic vies of the Shimla town, Vice-regal lodge Mall road, Night stay in Shimla.
Day4:Shimla-Manali (285 kms / 7 hrs)
Morning drive to Manali (285 kms / 7 hrs) a picture-perfect hill resort at an altitude of 1,929 metres. Set amidst pine-clad mountains, which gradually close in on both sides of the Beas and nestling in their shade, as though carved out of primeval forest, is a scattered hamlet, which comprises this picturesque summer resort. Arrive & check in the hotel. Rest of the evening is at leisure Night stay in Manali.
Day5: Manali
Morning proceed for a sightseeing tour of Manali covering the 450 years old temple dedicated to Hadimba Devi, which has some excellent woodcarving, Tibetan Monastery and a handicraft center. Rest of the day at leisure OR Enjoy walk to nearby picturesque village of Vashisht known for hot sulphur springs. Night stay in Manali.
Day6: Manali
Morning proceed to visit the Solang Valley, which offers fine views of glaciers and snow, capped peaks. A place not to be missed is Rohtang Pass, 51 km from Manali at an altitude of 3978 meters (subject to weather conditions & at own expence). Rest of the day is at leisure OR take a stroll down the Mall road, Night stay in Manali.
Day7:Manali – Dharamshala (230 kms/ 6hrs)
After breakfast drive 230 kms 6hrs from Manali to Dharamshala. Check in at hotel. Rest of the day is free for you to enjoy. We suggest you to enjoy a walk along the mall road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts. Overnight stay at hotel in Dharamshala.
Day 8: Dharamshala
After breakfast, visit Norbulingka institute which is perhaps one of its best in the world. Institute has its own Temple, Museum, Meditation hall, one thousand, one hundred and seventy-three images of the Buddha decorate the forty four foot high temple hall. Than we visit residential school run by Tibetan refugees, also visit Tibetan crafts village, where Tibetan refugees are imparted training for making various handicrafts, carpet as well as tailoring. Evening free for shopping in the market. Return to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Dharamshala
Day 9 Dharamshala – Dalhousie (127kms 3hrs)
After breakfast, drive 127kms 3hrs from Dharamshala to Dalhousie. Check in at hotel. Evening free for shopping at Mall road or relaxation. Overnight stay at hotel in Dalhousie.
Day 10 Khajjiar
After breakfast, visit Subhash Chowk, Gandhi Chowk, Punj Pulla. In the afternoon drive 30 kms 1 hr to khajjiar. It is a famous shooting spot, Khajjiar is a small picturesque saucer shaped plateau surrounded by the pine and deodar forests. Enjoy scenic beauty and Horse riding here. Evening return back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Dalhousie
Day 11 Amritsar or Pathankot (to Amritsar- 218 kms- 4 hrs) (to Pathankot- 103 kms/ 3 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer back Amritsar or Pathankot Railway Station.
